Farewell and Thank You to Murray Bridge Friends of Orana
A special morning tea for a special group of people
On Tuesday, February 11th, our Murray Bridge site held a special morning tea to celebrate and extend our sincere appreciation to the Murray Bridge Friends of Orana team.
After an incredible 53 years of dedication, this beloved volunteer group has made the difficult decision to disband.
As the last faction of Friends of Orana in South Australia, this dedicated group of volunteers has been an invaluable part of our organisation, providing support to the Murray Bridge site since the 1970’s.
Throughout the years, they have played a vital role in the significant effort of moving the workshop to its present location, raising funds for essential needs like new machinery, appliances, verandas, seating, and even festive Christmas lunches, while also assisting in the upkeep of the facilities. Ensuring the comfort and happiness of employees has consistently been their foremost focus.
Thank you to all of the wonderful Friends of Orana who have dedicated their time and energy over the past 50 years. Your kindness, support and generosity is greatly appreciated, and you will be sincerely missed.
